Holding on to the future
Feb. 16th, 2004 06:43 amMonday mornings are hard because the burden of the whole work week is sitting before me. The possibilities of the week seem infinite, and, therefore, overwhelming.
Today I need to book my time off. I think I'll take all of next week. I'm looking for suggestions on cheap or free stuff to do around Vancouver during weekdays, if anyone has any thoughts.
Tonight Russ is going to visit Milton the Drum Guy. I've been eagerly anticipating getting the drums for Silver Spiral for many months now. Finally, we'll have them and be able to start learning group drumming. I think it'll be wonderful.
I have much to look forward to.
I will try to hold on to that, though I feel heavy with the anticipation of another full work week.
