Post-sick update
Jan. 29th, 2005 11:46 amI'm feeling a little odd, in a good way (see adorable mood icon). I
think it might be lack of deep sleep, combined with lack of food,
combined with a double-shot latte. And maybe a dose of reading four
days of LJ updates back-to-back, including
breklor's
"Down the Rabbithole" sureality (is that a word?), hasn't helped
(
breklor is very funny though!).
I caught Russ' flu/stomach virus thing. But where he was down for five days, I was, thank goodness, only really down for two. I missed a day and a half of work (and have never been so grateful for Paul before), and didn't do any of the social things I had planned, nor accomplish anything on my to-do list, as half my week was taking care of Russ and half my week was nursing myself back to health.
So, today I need to:
-Write the Silver Spiral Imbolc ritual for tonight. Well, I was still writing it when they arrived, but it was a success anyway.
-Call Silver Spiral to get a head count and make sure everyone brings
their scroll from last Imbolc (if you get this before I call, comment
here so I don't have to call you, OK?).
-Probably go to the store to buy things for Imbolc.
-Change the sheets, towels, pillow cases, etc, if Russ is doing laundry today.
-Do a quick vacuum and wipe-down of the house to make it suitable for company.
-Tidy up table tops. (Note to self: they can be useful for doing
things on, not just as levitation surfaces to keep the stuff off the
floor).
-Do dishes. Russ did them, but they did get done!
Tomorrow:
-Write my pieces for Fringe Imbolc.
- Do something about planning my birthday party.
-Something to do with The Gathering...? It was to send a tasks list to the Board members - done.
- Do bank homework with Russ?
-SLEEP IN! (This is very important... I must be sure to at least accomplish that much tomorrow.) I did manage to sleep in until 9 am... not as late as I wanted, but I laid around in bed with the cat for an hour to make up for it.
Next, I will eat. Then I will tackle the rest of this stuff. Imbolc tonight could be interesting, as my mind is refusing to settle on a theme...[Unknown site tag][Unknown site tag]
