The ants came marching one by one...

I don't hate ants (not the way I hate moths, anyway; that's another story), but when Russ found ants crawling all over our kitchen window sill, I was not thrilled. The problem seems to be contained now, but I am looking forward to living above ground, where at least the ants have to work at it to get to you.

In other news, the Eat Vancouver show is pretty good this year: lots of free samples! We came home with free rice, free hollaise mix, free Press-and-Seal wrap and lots of free Pocky. Plus we sampled tons of strange foods (fake milk made of potato, asparagus salsa, mango juice, blueberry juice, raspberry wine, and more) and bought a few goodies, including a non-wheat grain that has the texture of orzo when cooked - Cin, you can look forward to being experimented on again, this time with grain salads!

I've been working on the Gathering for Life on Earth's confirmation package (I'm the secretary of the Board of Directors), which is getting me all excited about possibilities for rituals, workshops and other activities. I went dollar store shopping today for some supplies!

Zoey's nails need clipping very badly. I'm going to try to take a break from my Gathering-related stuff to do that, if she'll calm down long enough.
