Day 2 - Sunday, lovely Sunday

For once, no Sunday blues! Must be the lack of Monday getting-back-to-work blues.

Had another lovely day:

- Sex last night and sex this morning... I feel good!

- Russ made apple fritters for brunch! They are battered apples, deep-fried, and it is like eating a warm, fresh donut with a chunk of apple in the center. What a great treat!

- Russ also shaved my head for me. He's the best!

- I got some cleaning done, so our home feels fresher.

- To top it all off, ED and I went dancing tonight. It felt great.

So I have just gotten home, and now I will endeavour to get my make-up off and get to bed.

I look forward to sleeping in tomorrow.

Lesson 2 - Being a cat

My first workday not at work, and I'm trying not to panic about not having plans for the whole week laid out and ready. I don't naturally just let things come; I like to plan and organize and prepare.

So my second relaxation lesson is taken from watching Puck the cat and Zoey the kitten: nap, eat, play, and, every once in a while, run around like a crazy thing for no particular reason.

I did sleep in today, then lazed in bed and read for a while. Now I've showered, eaten, done the dishes and I'm on my second americano and I'm starting to think about going out for a bit, getting some fresh air.

~Runs madly around the apartment, then falls asleep on the coffee table.~

Day 3 - Quietness

I had a nice, lazy day:

- Slept until 11 am, then stayed in bed and read until noon.

- Coffee, lunch, more coffee. And lots of kitty cuddles.

- Did some dishes: I like doing dishes most of the time. The hot water feels nice on my hands, the soap we've got smells like Jolly Rancher's candies and everything is so shiny and beautiful after I'm done.

- Took the 99 bus out to Banyen Books and cruised the aisles. There are some new books about labyrinths out, among other interesting things. But nothing stood out enough for me to part with cash.

- Had pasta and garlic bread for dinner with Russ. He was feeling a little run down, so we watched TV and played Tetris and then he went to bed early.

I may try to get up with him in the morning, even though it means not sleeping in. I really love having coffee with him in the morning.
