My week in point form
Mar. 2nd, 2005 10:09 pm- Puck was sick and at the vet for two days. Now he's better and at home. We, however, are not so much better: he can't go outside and wants to, and we have to give him two pills twice a day. He won't take them crushed in food, so we have to do it the hard way. Sigh.
- Dan gave me $50 in gift certificates for a downtown restaurant, DV8, because I'm doing a good job and he's a great boss. Russ and I may use them for my birthday dinner on Friday night. Or we may end up eating pizza on the couch... it has been a long week already.
- I don't know what to get my mother for her birthday next week.
- Puck's constant bitching about being stuck in the house, with the kitten no less, is getting old quickly.
- ED finished my corset on Sunday, and it is fabulous! And she made me matching horns and a chocker, so I will be adorable at the next Sin City. I must post a picture to show off her work - she does commissions at an amazing price; there's about a two month wait for one of her custom corsets at this point.
- Pad making went well last Sunday: lots of girly chatter and chocolate, and a few pads actually got made too. Again, very glad to have ED around, because she knows how to fix sewing machine tension, etc.
- I thought I sent the draft Gathering registration form to Wendy for conversion to PDF and posting to the Board on Saturday, but I must have sent it to the wrong address or something. So proofreading on it is behind. Instead of being printed and mailed on Thursday, I'm aiming for next Monday. If only Adobe worked on my computer, none of this would have happened. Sigh.
- I got my hair trimmed and thinned today. Suzanne gives the best scalp massages, and I like what she does with my hair. It doesn't look very different this time, but I may try something a little more exciting next time.
- Everyone's brain seems a little scattered the last week or so. People have been double-booking themselves, forgetting things, all kinds of little things.
- Zoey missed Puck while he was at the vet's, so she's a bit better behaved now that he's home and she can release energy bouncing off of him.
- Chocolate-Peanut Butter Soy Frozen Dessert with Reese Bits on it rocks!
There will be more silly updates soon...
